We're documentary photographers at heart. On a wedding day that means we're watching for the real stuff — the toast that goes off the rails, the first look, the laugh you didn't plan. When we do steer you, it's a nudge into a real moment, not a stiff pose you have to hold. You'll barely notice we're directing. You'll just look like yourselves.

Our work runs true-to-life and a little bold — real color, real light, real moments over poses. If you love soft, faded, airy edits, we may not be the best fit — and that’s okay. If you want photos that feel like the day actually felt — we might be exactly it.

Hi — we're Dan & Esme, a husband-and-wife team. We shoot every wedding together. That means one of us can guide the moment while the other catches what’s happening around it. Give us 90 seconds and you'll know if we're your people.
(Spoiler: we're pretty normal, we laugh a lot, and we take this seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.)

Starting at $3,900
Package Includes:
• 2 Photographers, all day (up to 10 hours) — getting-ready through the send-off
• Engagement session — where your documentary look starts
• Sneek peek within 48 hours of your wedding
• Your full gallery within 4 weeks
• A private online gallery and print shop
• Custom greeting cards — invitations from your engagement shots, or thank-yous from your sneak peek
• Planning call before your big day
Going long? Additional hours past 10 are $350.

Start with an engagement session. $450 gets you the shoot, your edited gallery, and a pack of custom greeting cards to use as save-the-dates or invitations.
Book us for your wedding within 18 months and the full $450 comes off your package.

You’re our FAVORITE kind of couple!
A lot of people freeze the second a camera comes out — and then hate how stiff the photos look. That's the whole reason we work the way we do. We're not going to bark poses at you. We guide gently, we keep it easy, and we catch the real moments in between. By the end you'll forget we're there. (It's also exactly why your package includes an engagement session — it's the low-stakes warm-up that makes the wedding day feel natural.)

Yes — that's home. We're based in Federal Way and shoot all over the South Sound, the greater Seattle/Tacoma area and the PNW as a whole. Let us know where your wedding is, and we can work something out!

All day, up to 10 hours, both of us shooting — getting-ready through the send-off. If you need more than 10 hours or if you have a multi day wedding, let us know, we can make that happen.
